
Sweety Acharya is a Registered Psychologist and Behaviour Support Practitioner with experience working in public mental health services and disability support settings. She provides compassionate, person-centred support tailored to each individual’s needs, goals, and strengths.
Sweety aims to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental environment where people feel heard, understood, and comfortable expressing themselves. She supports adults, children, and young people experiencing a range of mental health, behavioural, emotional, and psychosocial challenges.
She has experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioural concerns, and psychosocial disabilities. Sweety is passionate about supporting people through life challenges and helping them build confidence, coping skills, and independence.
Sweety uses evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She works collaboratively with individuals, families, schools, and support networks to support emotional wellbeing and meaningful participation in daily life and the community.
